Discover shows one card at a time: name, age, gender, country and bio. There are no photos on cards. Tap Like or Nope, or swipe. When you both like each other, it's a match. A chat opens and you can see each other's photos.

Cards come mostly from your own country. When you've seen everyone there, Boredchat shows people from other countries and tells you so.

Stars come first, highlighted with their message. Then likes from premium users, then likes from everyone else. Inside each group, the oldest like is at the top. Someone who liked you shows here even if you passed on them before.

With premium you can filter by gender, age range and country. Open the filters from the top of Discover.

A star is a like with a short message, up to 140 characters. It puts you at the top of their Liked you list. Anyone can buy packs of 1, 5, 15 or 30 stars. Bought stars never expire.

Premium gives you 1 free star every Friday at 00:00 UTC. It expires at the next Friday if you don't use it, and it's always used before your bought stars.

Filters, 1 free star a week, a premium tag on your card and profile, and premium chat features in every match: unlimited game turns, GIFs, voice calls, videos and camera photos without a limit. Plans are weekly, monthly or annual. Prices are shown in the app and set per country by Apple or Google.

If either person in a match has premium, both of you get all the premium chat features in that match. So your match can call you, send GIFs and play without a turn limit even if you don't pay. Filters, stars and the premium tag stay with the person who pays.

Send text, voice notes and gallery photos (normal or one-time view), plus 1 camera photo per match. Each game has 10 free turns per match.

You can play chess, tic tac toe, make the boxes, truth or dare, would you rather, 20 questions and Wild Cards inside your chat. In a free match each game has 10 free turns per match. A turn is one move that counts. The count is kept on our server, so restarting a game or reinstalling the app doesn't reset it. In a premium match there is no limit.

A one-time view photo or video opens once and then it's gone. It can't be saved, and the app blocks screenshots and screen recording while it's open. After it's opened, we delete the file from our storage.

It means the photo or video was taken with the camera inside Boredchat, not picked from the gallery. Free matches can send 1 camera photo in total. Premium matches can send camera photos and videos without a limit.

Boredchat has a nude filter that runs on your phone. If it thinks a photo or video you received may contain nudity, it covers it. Tap to see it if you want to. The check runs on your phone and nothing is sent anywhere.

Normal photos and videos can be saved by the person you send them to. If you don't want something kept, send it as one-time view.

Voice calls work in premium matches, and either person can start one from the top of the chat. The call screen has mute, end call and report. Calls go directly between phones or through our own relay server in the EU, and they are never recorded.

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions.
3. Tap Boredchat, then Cancel subscription.

You can also tap Manage plan on the premium screen in Boredchat. Cancel at least 24 hours before your plan renews. Premium stays until the end of the period you paid for.

1. Open the Google Play app.
2. Tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
3. Tap Boredchat, then Cancel subscription.

You can also tap Manage plan on the premium screen in Boredchat. Cancel at least 24 hours before your plan renews.

Premium and stars belong to your Boredchat account. Sign in with the same Google or Apple account you used before and they come back. Your subscription must also use the same Apple ID or Google account it was bought with. If premium doesn't show, open the premium screen and tap Restore. If it still doesn't show, email us with the date of the purchase and the order number from your store receipt.

Apple and Google handle all payments, so refunds go through them. On iPhone, use reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, use your Google Play order history.

In a chat, tap the menu at the top, then Report, Block or Unmatch. Press and hold a message, photo or voice note to report just that one. In a call, tap Report. The person won't know it was you. A moderator reviews every report. See the community rules.

Unmatch removes the chat, its media and its games for both of you. You won't see each other again.

A warning has to be read and accepted before you go on. A suspension ends on the date the app shows. A ban is permanent. If you think we got it wrong, see how to appeal.

Go to Profile, Settings, Delete account. Everything is deleted, including your media. See delete your account for the full steps and how to do it by email.

Go to Profile, Settings, Privacy and data, Download my data. You get a file with everything we hold about you.
